Ma Tian Yu is rumored to be gay

Ma Tian Yu(Ray Ma),a most popular young idol in mainland China,now involved in a controversial discussion about his sexual orientation.A so-called ex-boyfriend of Ma Tian Yu,named Gao bo who is a famous photographer and stylist,took in an online interview on netease(dot)com on Sep.1.He purported that he did involve in a homosexual relationship with Ma and he thought Ma should come out of the closet,be supportive to homosexual community.However,this saying was fiercely denied by Ma's broker and entertainment company.

Ma Tian Yu was known as a candidate of My Hero(a TV program on Dragon TV like American Idol) in 2006.His handsome face,angel smiling and virtuousness attracted a lot of people no matter young or old,male or female,gay or straight.Although he wasn't the champion,he is the most popular one among all the candidates.His first photo album was published last year on Oct and soon became a best seller.His first CD album was published on Jan this year,produced by Hu Hai Quan(a top musician known for a famous team called Yu Quan),soon became the other best seller just after it published.A song of this album,called Gai Si De Wen Rou(The Damn Tenderness),is now the most popular pop song in China mainland which makes about £¤100 million by mobile phone downloading service.

Although Ma is a popular star now,his childhood was far from perfect.It was a tragedy.
Ma was borned in a poor village in Shandong Province.His parents divorced when he was 5.After his father's disappearance,one day,his mother asked the 5-year-old Ma to buy some medicine for her.In fact,those medicine were poison.The 5-year-old Ma didn't know his mammy was going to suicide.The sorrow of his mother's death accompanied Ma's childhood.When Ma was 17,his grandfather could hardly give him any more financial support because of poverty.Ma had to discontinue his study in high school and went to big citis for work.He went to Beijing in which his only sister was working as a nurserymaid.It was really a tough time.Ma's first job was a dishwasher in a small canteen which offered him less than £¤300 a month.In order to save money,he'd rather walk on foot than take a bus.

Gao Bo said he met Ma in a bar for the first time when Ma was one of the bar's waiters.Later,Ma became an assistant in Gao's studio.That was the begining of their relationship.However,the romance didn't last a very long time,at last,they broke up.Gao is a famous photographer and stylist.His clients includes many super stars in China.Gao said he knew many stars whom were homosexual but the atmosphere in China was too conservative for those stars to come out.He thought Ma should come out of the closet,be supportive to homosexual community.
